Melissa Scott (40) is the Pastor and Teacher of the University Cathedral - home of the largest Protestant congregation in Downtown Los Angeles, and televangelist. With command of over twenty languages, she disects and explains the original meaning of what the original writers of the Bible and other Holy Scripture had to say.
Melissa Scott married famed & infamous televangelist Dr. Gene Scott and inherited his congregation and televangelical empire.

You can find her daily televangelical program every weekday sometime after midnight on a local channel.

While I would love to give you a more detailed biography - there hardly is one out there. Which leads to many conspiracy theories over just who Melissa Scott is (WAS). While I would love to offer some of these theories up for discussion - most sites that have discussed her "potential" previous life have wound up being taken off the interwebz oh so mysteriously. MILF of the Month (October) - Salma Hayek

Hayek was born in Coatzacoalcos, Veracruz, Mexico, the daughter of Diana Jiménez, an opera singer and talent scout, and Sami Hayek, an oil company executive. Hayek's father is of Lebanese descent while her mother is of Spanish descent. Her first given name, Salma, is Arabic for "peace" or "calm". Raised in a wealthy, devoutly Catholic family, she was sent to the Academy of the Sacred Heart, Grand Coteau, Louisiana, at the age of twelve. While there, she was diagnosed with dyslexia. She was also an accomplished gymnast aspiring to compete in the Olympics, but her father prevented her from being recruited by the Mexican national team. The religious sisters running the Academy ejected Hayek, citing behavioral problems, so she returned to Mexico. She was later sent to live with her aunt in Houston, Texas, where she stayed until she was seventeen. She attended college in Mexico City, where she studied International Relations at the Universidad Iberoamericana. To the surprise of her family, she dropped out to pursue a career as an actress. At 23, Hayek began her acting career by landing the title role in Teresa (1989), a successful Mexican telenovela that made her a star in Mexico. Hayek moved to Los Angeles, California in 1991 to study acting under Stella Adler, hoping for a career in Hollywood, despite limited fluency in English, attributed to her suffering from dyslexia. Robert Rodriguez and his producer wife Elizabeth Avellan soon gave Hayek the break she needed, a starring role opposite Antonio Banderas in 1995's Desperado.
Around the year 2000, Hayek founded production company Ventanarosa, through which she produces film and television projects. Hayek is an executive producer of Ugly Betty, a television series airing around the world since September 2006. Hayek adapted the series for American television with Ben Silverman, who acquired the rights and scripts from the Colombian telenovela Yo Soy Betty La Fea in 2001. Originally intended as a half hour sitcom for NBC in 2004, the project would later be picked up by ABC for the 2006–2007 season with Silvio Horta also producing. Hayek guest-starred on Ugly Betty as Sofia Reyes, a magazine editor. She also had a cameo playing an actress in the telenovela within the show. The show quickly became a ratings hit and won a Golden Globe Award for Best Comedy Series in 2007. Hayek's performance as Sofia resulted in a nomination for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series at the 59th Primetime Emmy Awards.

Hayek has appeared in more than thirty films and performed as an actress outside of Hollywood in Mexico and Spain. Hayek's charitable work includes increasing awareness on violence against women and discrimination against immigrants and has spoken in front of Senate committees regarding these issues.

MILF of the Month (September) - Sarah Brightman

Apologies for a delayed MILF of the Month for September. We had to think long and hard (that's what she said) about this one. In the end we agreed to inject some much needed class and culture into this month's entry, and you cannot talk about classy and cultured MILFs without talking about Sarah Brightman. Sarah Brightman is most known for being a popular soprano who has cross-overed the sounds of opera into the mainstream/pop culture forum. Most notably her duet with blind tenor Andrea Bocelli, "Time to Say Goodbye/Con Te Partiro" has proven that opera is not just for the higher end of class.
Aside from her amazing... cough... lungs... Sarah Brightman was born in Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, England (so she has got that super sexy English accent) in August 14th, 1960. Yes that's right, she's 48 years old and looks like she did when she was 20!!! At 16, in 1976, Brightman joined the dance group Pan's People, on the BBC series Top of the Pops. She left a year later to lead Hot Gossip, a mixed dance act who appeared on The Kenny Everett Video Show. The group, more provocative than Pan's People, had a disco hit in 1978 with "I Lost My Heart to a Starship Trooper", which sold half a million and reached number six on the UK charts.
In 1981, Brightman auditioned for the new musical Cats and received the role of Jemima. In rehearsals she met Andrew Lloyd Webber. The two married in 1984 and Brightman starred in Lloyd Webber's musicals, including Song and Dance and the mass Requiem, the latter written for her. With Requiem she earned her first Grammy nomination. Brightman starred as Christine Daaé in Lloyd Webber's adaptation of The Phantom of the Opera. Christine was written for her. Lloyd Webber refused to open The Phantom of the Opera on Broadway unless Brightman played Christine.
By 1990, Brightman and Lloyd Webber separated.
Since then her music career has flourished and in almost every single country in the world has attained a #1 hit. She has had her personal shares of ups and downs with love and family (multiple divorces, her father committing suicide, and her experiencing multiple miscarriages) and has always dealt with them in pride and dignity. She truly is an inspiration and is classy in every sense of the word.

MILF of the Month (August) - Diane Lane

We here at the Nerd Corner have a fine appreciation for all things aged- wine... comic books... and most importantly women! There is nothing sexier than a confident and beautiful woman past the age of 35. So in celebration of these women, we'd like to present you with an ongoing celebration of women past the age of 35 that we will be calling "MILF of the Month." Our first recipient of MILF of the Month can go to none other than the epitomy of what a sexy, confident, and talented woman past her 30's is.
Our first recipient for MILF of the Month can be none other than Diane Lane.
Diane Lane was born on January 22, 1965, in New York. Diane was acting from a very young age and made her stage debut at the age of six. Her work in such acclaimed theater productions as "The Cherry Orchard" and "Medea" led to her being called to Hollywood. She was 13 when she was cast by director George Roy Hill in his wonderful 1979 film A Little Romance (1979), opposite Sir Laurence Olivier. During this time, her parents split up and her mother went to Mexico, while her father retained custody. When Lane was 15, she declared her independence from her father and ran away to Los Angeles for a week with actor and friend Christopher Atkins. She came back and moved in with a friend's family, paying them rent.
She has gone on to make 50 movies, all of varying degrees of success. Lane was finally noticed by the Academy with a Nomination for her steamy roll in Unfaithful. Unfaithful is a MUST SEE for anyone that likes Diane Lane, let alone finds her attractive.
Diane Lane is currently married to fellow actor, Josh Brolin. At 43, she still has the killer stats of 35C-25-34. WOW! :)
